Getting Exercise at the Office
Even with a desk job, you can still achieve to have enough exercise at work to maintain your fitness. With simple strategies and an extra amount of effort from you, you can go a long way to preserving your health.
Start by leaving your house earlier so you can enjoy walking to work. If you live near the vicinity of your office, skip the temptation of commuting and indulge in the sunlight and fresh air that comes with the morning. If you have to take public transportation, get off one block farther to have more time to walk. If you drive yourself to the office, try to park in a far spot. When you enter the building, why not take the stairs? This workout is beneficial for the muscles in your buttocks and thighs. Think of all the fat you can lose doing all that walking! Furthermore, at your cubicle or table, you can do a series of desk exercises too. Also, do your own copies and visit your co-worker to discuss your project instead of emailing from your chair.
