Healthcare - Dentistry
Dentistry is usually treated as a lower-tier medical degree compared to physicians due to the reduced number of years in training and residency. However, dentistry is a full-fledged medical profession in all other respects. People need dental work as they age beginning with early childhood deciduous teeth to middle age and beyond. Dental prosthetics is usually part of growing old but a vigorous dental hygiene discipline can preserve teeth well beyond the grave. Teeth enamel is the hardest part of the human body but improper care can result in tooth decay that can affect health in a substantive way since eating a good meal needs a set of good teeth. Dentistry is expected to be one of those health care professions that are also recession-proof since people require health care no matter how bad the economy becomes.
