Preparing for the Interview
Most jobseekers neglect to give ample preparation for their interview at a prospective company. But you can actually get positive results from your career hunt if you are thoroughly ready for the big day. It only requires some research and self-assessment in your part.
Begin by examining your status at present. What are the new skills that you have acquired and what abilities have you further improved? Are there any pertinent details that you want to include in your curriculum vitae? After this evaluation, update your resume, and edit it for errors. Next, look up the company history and facts to be oriented with their culture and developments. You might know someone from inside who can be a good source. Locate their office and estimate how long it will take you to travel going there to ensure you arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes before your schedule. Have a mock interview with your friend, and be prepared to answer questions that might make you feel uncomfortable. Lastly, prepare to look smart and professional with the appropriate attire and a confident smile.
