Internal sales or telesales is a selling or a marketing activity in which a company agent approaches a prospective customer via the telephone, i.e., selling from long distance. Most of these calls are unexpected; hence, telesales is commonly referred to as ‘cold calling’.

Though the salary can be quite generous, a telesales job is inarguably one of the toughest, frustrating and challenging jobs.
